The Cabinet Director assists directly the President of the Republic and directs and coordinates the Office of the President of the Republic.
The Director of the Cabinet is freely appointed and dismissed by the President of the Republic, who confers him / her.
The Director of the Cabinet is replaced, in his absences and impediments, by whoever is designated by the President of the Republic.
Skills
It is incumbent upon the Director of Cabinet:
- Support the President of the Republic in the definition of the general orientation of the activity of the Presidency of the Republic;
- Support the President of the Republic in its relations with other organs of sovereignty;
- Ensure liaison between the Office and other Presidency services, as well as any other public and private services;
- Articulate the activities of the body of Advisors and Counselors with the President of the Republic;
- Coordinate the other activities of the Presidency of the Republic with the Administrative and Financial Director.
