The Field Helper is official at the orders of the President of the Republic who is responsible for:

1. To assist the Personal Security Services;
2. To monitor permanently the President of the Republic by providing assistance as circumstances dictate;
3. To assist the Personal Guard and escort team in the physical protection, defense and security of the President of the Republic,
4. To protect the President of the Republic in the internal and external movements of the country, supporting the escort team integrated in the delegation.
